(a) The City does hereby assume and agree to pay for full time employees as defined in this section, not covered by a collective bargaining agreement, a portion of the premiums for hospitalization and medical insurance for each full time City employee who is enrolled in a City group plan of insurance providing for benefits for the employee, spouse and dependant children as provided for in the policy of insurance as may from time to time be amended.
(b) For purposes of this section a full time employee shall be considered any employee who works for the City 160 or more hours per month.
(c) A part time employee may enroll in such a group plan by having the premiums withheld and paid from his/her wages upon written request to the City Auditor.
