109.06 EQUAL OPPORTUNITY OFFICER.
   The Mayor shall designate one of the administrative officials as Equal Opportunity Coordinator and shall insure that the official has sufficient time and/or assistance to perform fully his or her duties as Equal Opportunity Coordinator. These duties shall include:
   (a)   Monitoring the implementation of this policy and monitoring the City's progress in insuring equal opportunity for minorities.
   (b)   Serving as a liaison between the City and minority groups.
   (c)   Accepting complaints or suggestions from minority employees and/or citizens, investigating and attempting to resolve such complaints.
   (d)   Assisting in development of equal opportunity policies.
   (e)   Performing such other duties as may be required by affirmative action plans submitted to government agencies and participating in development and revision of such plans.
