It shall be unlawful for any person to install or suffer to remain installed, within the corporate limits of the city, any interior building or house electric wiring, including all connections thereto inside or outside, unless such installations are in strict conformity with the statutes of the state and unless they are in conformity with the most approved methods of construction for safety of life and property. The regulations as laid down in the National Electrical Code shall be prima facie evidence of said methods, and said National Electrical Code is hereby incorporated and made a part of this subchapter the same as though set out at length herein.
