§ 150.001 BUILDING CODES ADOPTED BY REFERENCE.
   (A)   To provide certain minimum standards, provisions and requirements for safe and stable design, methods of construction and uses of materials in buildings hereafter erected, constructed, enlarged, altered, repaired, relocated and converted, and to provide certain minimum standards, provisions and requirements for safe and fireproof installation, methods of connection and uses of materials and the installation of electrical wiring and appliances, gas pipe and fittings and plumbing and heating systems, the following building codes are hereby adopted, to wit:
      (1)   2018 International Building Code;
      (2)   2018 International Mechanical Code;
      (3)   2018 Uniform Plumbing Code designated by the American National Standards Institute as an American National Standard;
      (4)   2017 National Electric Code, or the current code adopted by the state;
      (5)   2018 NPPA 101 Life Safety Code, or the current code adopted by the state;
      (6)   The state’s Accessibility Guidelines;
      (7)   National Fuel Gas Code, or the current code adopted by the state;
      (8)   2018 International Residential Code; and
      (9)   2018 International Existing Building Code.
   (B)   Said standard codes are hereby adopted and incorporated by reference in addition to all amendments as though printed in full herein, insofar as said codes do not conflict with the state statutes. One copy of each code is on file at the office of the City Clerk and is available for public inspection at any reasonable time. The provisions of all of said codes shall be controlling throughout the city and throughout its zoning jurisdiction.
