§ 72.53 REMOVAL OF UNAUTHORIZED VEHICLES.
   (A)   The owner or person in lawful possession of an off-street parking facility, after notifying the police or Sheriff’s Department, or the city, or provider of on-street parking or ownership or operation of an off-street parking facility, may cause the removal of any vehicles not displaying proper identification or the distinguishing license plates specified in this subchapter from a stall or space designated exclusively for permanently or temporarily handicapped or disabled persons if there is posted immediately adjacent to and visible from such stall or other space a sign which clearly and conspicuously states the area so designated as a handicap zone.
   (B)   In the case of a privately owned off-street parking facility, the owner or person in lawful possession of such facility shall inform the city of a violation of this section prior to taking any action pursuant to this section.
