(A) All permits authorized under this section for handicapped or disabled parking shall be issued for a period ending January 1 of the third year following the date of issuance.
(B) All temporarily handicapped or disabled parking permits authorized under this section shall be issued for a period ending 90 days from the date of issuance but may be renewed for up to three additional 90-day periods. For each additional 90-day renewal period, an additional application shall be submitted with proof of a handicap or disability.
