(A) Installation expense. The expense of installation and equipment from the existing gas supply system to the gas meter of any property shall be paid by the consumer. The expense of installation and equipment beyond the meter to the place of distribution shall also be the responsibility of the consumer.
(B) Installation expense for EFV valve. The city shall charge an installment fee of $375 for the installation of an EFV (excess flow valve) at any residence or business within the city limits.
(C) Inspection. The city, through any of its employees or agents, may enter upon the property owned by the consumer to inspect said system at any reasonable time and may enter any building for the same purpose upon personal or written notice to the owner or occupant of said premises at least 12 hours prior to said entry. In case of an emergency, entry may be made immediately.
