§ 51.101 WELLHEAD PROTECTION AREA.
   (A)   For the purpose of this section, the following definition shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
      WELLHEAD PROTECTION AREA. The surface and subsurface area surrounding a water well or well field supplying a public water system through which contaminants are reasonably likely to move toward and reach such water or well field.
   (B)   The city designates a wellhead protection area for the purpose of protecting the community water supply system. The boundaries of the wellhead protection area are designated in a map prepared by the state’s Department of Environmental Quality, which is on file at the office of the City Clerk and incorporated by reference herein.
