§ 51.080 LIABILITY CLAIMS.
   The Superintendent shall be relieved from personal liability. The city shall hold harmless the Superintendent, when acting in good faith and without malice, from all personal liability for any damage that may occur to any person or property as a result of any act required or authorized by this chapter, or by reason of any act or omission of the Superintendent in the discharge of his or her duties hereunder. Any suit brought for carrying out the provisions of this chapter shall be defended by the city, or the city’s insurance carrier, if any, through final determination of such proceeding.
