3-3-2: AIRPORT ADVISORY BOARD:
   A.   Board Established: There is hereby established in and for the city a board which shall be known as the airport advisory board. (1980 Code § 4-33)
   B.   Composition: The airport advisory board shall be composed of five (5) regular members. (1980 Code § 4-34)
   C.   Appointment: The members of the airport advisory board shall be appointed in the manner provided by section 62 of the city charter. (1980 Code § 4-35)
   D.   Terms: There shall be five (5) regular members of the airport advisory board, and they shall serve for terms of three (3) years each. Each shall serve until their successor is duly appointed and qualified. (1980 Code § 4-36)
   E.   Ex Officio Member: The mayor shall be an ex officio member of the airport advisory board. (1980 Code § 4-37)
   F.   Compensation For Expenses: The members of the airport advisory board shall serve as such without pay or other remuneration except such expenses as shall actually be expended and allowances as may be approved by the board of commissioners. (1980 Code § 4-38)
   G.   Organization: The airport advisory board shall organize itself and shall hold open meetings and keep records and minutes of its meetings as provided by law. (1980 Code § 4-39)
   H.   Meetings: The airport advisory board shall meet on call as often as may be required. (1980 Code § 4-40)
   I.   Duties: It shall be the duty of the airport advisory board to advise and recommend to the board of commissioners the planning, development, construction, enlargement, improvement, maintenance, equipment, operation, regulation, protection and policing of the municipal airport and such additional land adjacent to the airport as is subject to the jurisdiction of the federal aviation association.
