3-2-8: DUTIES:
In addition to the duties set forth elsewhere in this chapter, the personnel board shall:
   A.   Advise the city manager and the board of commissioners on matters of personnel policy and problems of personnel administration.
   B.   Represent the interest in the improvement of personnel administration in the city's service.
   C.   Make any inquiry which it may consider desirable concerning personnel administration in the city's service.
   D.   Make recommendations to the city manager or the board of commissioners with respect thereto.
   E.   Hear appeals, receive evidence and determine facts, and affirm, modify or reverse the administrative action appealed from and direct the proper action to be taken. (1980 Code § 2-249)
