10-2-6: SERVICE ENTRANCES:
   A.   The customer shall provide a socket type meter base at a point not exceeding six feet (6') above the ground on the outside of the exterior wall at the nearest point to the most accessible service pole and must not be at any time enclosed by any rooms, porches or any other additions to the building. Meters that are now inside and cannot be read without entering some part of the building must be moved outside and installed in accordance with the requirements of this Code. The customer will be responsible for providing the City with an approved point of attachment for overhead service wires. At no time shall the City make or be held liable for an attachment to a structure.
   B.   For underground service feeders, the use of direct burial cable is not allowed. The feeders shall be run in PVC, rigid, or other rated and approved conduit. When PVC or other plastic conduit is used the burial depth is to be a minimum of twenty four inches (24"). Minimum burial depths of other approved conduit will be as specified by the applicable code as adopted by the City. (Ord. 6110, 11-23-2009, eff. 12-1-2009)
   C.   All secondary services (600 volts and below) must have an identifiable neutral wire. The wire may be solid white in color or contain a consistent white line from end to end.
   D.   Electrical secondary service masts (600 volts and below) may contain only one set of secondary service wires. Where the service will feed more than one electrical breaker, the wires must be sized according to the sum of the downstream main breaker current ratings. It is permissible to run parallel wires for high current single devices. (Ord. 6121, 6-14-2010)
