10-2-3: ELECTRICAL INSPECTOR:
   A.   Position Created: For the purpose of administering the codes adopted by the provisions of this chapter, there is hereby created the position of electrical inspector.
   B.   Qualifications: The electrical inspector shall be a competent electrician, shall have had at least five (5) years' practical experience as an electrician, or be a qualified city inspector meeting the requirements for electrical inspector as provided for by regulations of the construction industries board of the state of Oklahoma, and he shall devote his entire time to the services of the city. He shall not engage in nor be a member of any firm, corporation or partnership engaged in electrical contracting, installation of electrical wiring or devices nor the sale of electrical fixtures, appliances, or related fields.
   C.   Appeals: The decisions and requirements of the electrical inspector shall, at all times, be reasonable. Any person feeling himself aggrieved by a decision or requirement of the electrical inspector may make written appeal therefrom to the board of construction appeals. A hearing will be held on the same within ten (10) calendar days of the time the appeal is filed and the board of construction appeals shall issue its order affirming, overruling or modifying the inspector's determination within five (5) calendar days of the hearing.
