7-3-8: IMPOUNDMENT; RECLAMATION; DISPOSITION:
   A.   Authority To Apprehend: Any animal found in violation of the provisions of this chapter may be apprehended and confined in the city animal shelter. (1980 Code § 7-45)
   B.   Fees For Livestock Impoundment: The fees for the impoundment and boarding of horses, cows or pigs, per head, shall be in such amounts as established by resolution of the board of commissioners from time to time. (Ord. 5922, 2-14-2000; amd. 2003 Code)
   C.   License; Vaccination: If the animal impounded under this chapter has not received a rabies vaccination and license as required by the provisions of this chapter, the owner must, within two (2) days from the date of reclaiming the animal, have the same properly vaccinated and submit proof of such vaccination to the animal control officer. (1980 Code § 7-49)
   D.   Disposition: Any impounded animal shall be subject to humane disposition by sale, extinction or other reasonable disposition by the animal control officer after said animal has been impounded more than seventy two (72) hours. (1980 Code § 7-50)
