7-1-5: DRILLING FOR OIL AND GAS; MINING FOR COAL:
   A.   Oil And Gas; Permit Required: The drilling and production of oil and gas within the city limits is permitted subject to issuance of a permit therefor by the board of commissioners which takes into account the reasonable needs of the community adjacent to the drilling location.
   B.   Coal Mining Prohibited: The mining of coal within the limits of the city is prohibited. (Ord. 5974, 5-28-2002)
