A. The city hereby adopts 11 Oklahoma Statutes section 22-111 and any amendments thereof as the operative law and procedure by which it defines, notifies property owners, abates, hears appeals and recovers its costs of abatement for public nuisances arising from weeds and grass.
B. The city hereby adopts 11 Oklahoma Statutes section 22-112 and any amendments thereof as the operative law and procedure by which it defines, notifies property owners, abates, hears appeals and recovers its costs of abatement for public nuisances arising from dilapidated buildings.
C. The city hereby designates the development services director, or in his absence the building inspector, as the hearing officer for initial appeals from nuisance determinations. Appeals may be taken from the findings of the hearing officer to the board of commissioners if notice is given pursuant to the requirements of 11 Oklahoma Statutes sections 22-111 and 22-112.
