2. Definition
A college or university is an institution that is part of the Florida College System, State University System, or a nonpublic postsecondary education institution subject to licensure by the Commission for Independent Education, except for institutions whose curriculum is focused on specialty trades or vocational education. A college or university includes the administrative and faculty offices, classrooms, laboratories, chapels, auditoriums, lecture halls, libraries, student and faculty centers, athletic facilities, fraternities and sororities, and other facilities which further the educational mission of the institution. In no event shall this definition prohibit a college or university from engaging in an activity historically conducted by such institutions.

2. Definition
A specialty arts school is a private institution teaching specialized curriculum including performing and visual arts, photography, theatrics, music, culinary arts, or other courses or program the objective of which is not occupational but is only for personal enrichment or enjoyment.
3. Standards
In the B-1 and B-2 zoning districts, a specialty arts school shall be limited to a total gross floor area of 5,000 square feet.
