§ 152.01 ADOPTION OF FLORIDA BUILDING CODE.
   (A)   The Florida Building Code as amended from time to time is hereby adopted in its entirety as Chapter 152, Buildings. Applications submitted for permits prior to January 1, 2002 shall utilize the pre-amended fee schedule as approved by City Ordinance No. 2000-05.
   (B)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to violate any of the requirements of the Florida Building Code, as adopted by this chapter. Each such person, firm, or corporation shall be deemed to be in violation of a separate offense for each and every day during which any violation of any of the provisions of said Code is committed or continued, and upon conviction thereof, shall be punished.
   (C)   It shall be unlawful for any person, firm, or corporation to fail to comply with the requirements contained within any order issued by the Unsafe Structures and Housing Appeals Board, as established pursuant to Section 111 of the Florida Building Code. Each such person, firm, or corporation shall be deemed guilty of a separate offense for each and every day the violation of this provision occurs, which shall be punishable by a fine of not more than $500, or by imprisonment not exceeding 60 days, or by both such fine and imprisonment.
