(A) Within 90 days after the date of the receipt of the affordable housing incentive plan and recommendations from the Affordable Housing Advisory Committee, the City Commission shall adopt the Affordable Housing Incentive Plan. The Affordable Housing Incentive Plan shall consist of the adoption of specific initiatives to encourage or facilitate affordable housing and a schedule for implementation and must include, at a minimum:
(1) A schedule for implementation of expedited permit processing for affordable housing projects; and
(2) An ongoing process for review of local policies, ordinances, regulations and comprehensive plan provisions that significantly impact the cost of housing.
(B) Upon adoption of the Affordable Housing Incentive Plan, the City Commission shall so notify the Florida Housing Finance Agency by certified mail. The notice shall include a copy of the approved Affordable Housing Incentive Plan.
