§ 93.02 DEFINITIONS.
   For the purpose of this chapter, the following definitions shall apply unless the context clearly indicates or requires a different meaning.
   AIRCRAFT. For the purposes of this chapter, shall apply to all fixed wing and rotorcraft operating at Pompano Beach Air Park.
   COMMERCIAL AIRLINE OPERATIONS.  For the purposes of this chapter, shall be those operations conducted by federally certificated air carriers.
   INTERSECTION TAKE-OFFS.  For the purposes of this chapter, shall be those take-offs not conducted from the departure end of the runway, or those take-offs performed from runway or taxi-way intersections.
   OPTION.  An approach requested and conducted by a pilot which will result in either a touch-and-go, missed approach, low approach, stop-and-go, or full-stop landing.
   STOP-AND-GO. A simulated full-stop landing preceding a take-off without exiting the active runway.
   TAXI.  The movement of an airplane under its own power on the surface of an airport.
   TAXI-BACK.  An operation where during training activity an airplane lands on the active runway, rolls out to a full-stop landing, taxis the airplane off the active runway and taxis back to the beginning of the runway to start a new take-off run. This procedure takes more time to perform than a touch-and-go.
   TOUCH-AND-GO. A landing, not to a full-stop or simulating a full-stop, that precedes a take-off without exiting the active runway.
