No person shall kill or attempt to destroy or kill any robin, bluebird, swallow, martin, mosquitohawk, whippoorwill, cuckoo, woodpecker, dove, goldfinch, mockingbird, blue jay, finch, catbird, brown-thrasher, redbird, cardinal, hanging bird, wren, hummingbird, thrush, lark, cherry bird, yellow bird, oriole, bobolink, wild duck or goose or any singing bird, or rob the nests of such birds, or either or any of them.
