It shall be unlawful for any person under 17 years of age to be or remain upon any street or alley or other public place in the city after 11:00 p.m. through 6:00 a.m., Sunday through Thursday, and 12:00 midnight through 6:00 a.m., friday and Saturday unless such person is accompanied by a parent, guardian or other person having custody of such minor, or unless in the performance of duty directed by such parent, guardian or other person, or unless such person is lawfully employed making it necessary to be in such places after the above-mentioned times.
