(A) It shall be unlawful to do business in the city as an auctioneer without having first secured a license therefor as is herein provided.
(B) The annual fee payable in advance shall be as established by City Council from time to time. This license fee shall be paid by each individual who desires to do business as an auctioneer in the city, and each individual member of any partnership shall have a separate license. Each person assisting and receiving bids for any auctioneer shall be duly licensed as an auctioneer.
(C) Application for an auctioneer's license shall be made in writing to the City Clerk.
