(A) General. No bicycle shall be ridden at any time in any place in such a manner as to be dangerous to persons or property.

(B) Speed. No person riding a bicycle shall ride faster than is reasonable and proper, having regard to the safety of the rider and others.

(C) Acrobatic riding, racing, etc. No rider of a bicycle shall remove both hands from the handlebars, or feet from the pedals, or practice any acrobatic or fancy riding on any street, nor shall any person operating a bicycle upon a public highway participate in any race for speed or endurance contest with any other vehicle, except under a permit from and under the supervision of the Chief of Police.

(A) Whenever any person is riding a bicycle upon a sidewalk, such person shall yield the right-of-way to any pedestrian and shall give audible signal before overtaking and passing such pedestrian.
(B) No person shall ride a bicycle upon a sidewalk within the business district, between Division Avenue and Green Avenue on Mason Street, and between Colden Street and Locust Street on Franklin Avenue, nor on any sidewalk or roadway where signs are in place prohibiting the riding of bicycles thereon.
