(A) Before entering upon the duties of his/her office, the City Clerk shall execute a bond in the amount of $10,000 and with such sureties as may be required by the City Council, conditioned upon the faithful performance of his/her duties.
(B) The City Clerk shall receive the sum of $6,000 per year, as salary.
(C) The City Clerk shall also receive $10 for attending each committee meeting other than those held on regular council meeting nights. This applies only to committees appointed by the Mayor and approved by the Council, and only to those meetings which have met the public notice requirements as set out in the Open Meetings Act.
