(A) Before entering upon the duties of his/her office, the Mayor shall execute a bond in such amount and with such sureties as may be required by the Council, conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of his/her office. The amount of such bond shall not be less than $3,000.
(B) The Mayor shall take the oath of office prescribed by statute.
(C) The Mayor shall receive the sum of $2,400 per year as salary.
