It shall be unlawful for any persons, individually or in a group, to have in his or her possession, open cans, bottles or other containers of beer, or wine, or any other intoxicating beverages, on any public street, sidewalk or any other public property within the corporate limits of the town, whether in a vehicle or on foot.
