(a) Compensation. Full-time employees shall be paid an amount equal to one and one- half times their normal hourly base rate, for hours worked in excess of forty hours in one week. Scheduled vacation days and/or scheduled holidays shall be included in the calculation of the forty hours in one week.
(b) Scheduling. Overtime scheduling will be scheduled and controlled by the department head.
(c) Court Time. Full-time employees required to appear in the Mayor's Court as part of their employment obligation at times other than during regularly scheduled working hours will be paid a lump sum of twenty dollars ($20.00) per day with verified attendance. If the required court appearance is in any court other than the Mayor's Court, the lump sum payment will be forty dollars ($40.00) per day with verified attendance. If the court appearance is greater than four consecutive hours, the hours in attendance at court on that day in excess of four consecutive hours will be paid at one and one-half times the regular rate of pay in addition to the lump sum payment of twenty dollars ($20.00). A court appearance shall be construed on a per-diem basis and not a case basis.
