Each member of the Police Department shall, while in office, submit regularly to a physical examination at least once every three years, the results of such examination to be filed with the Fiscal Officer. Expenses of each examination shall be borne by the Village, but shall be limited to the examination only and not to any treatment necessitated thereby. However, after age fifty-five, such examination shall be had once each year until age sixty- five, or, in the event that Council authorizes continued employment after age sixty-five until age seventy, then until age seventy.
