258.01 ESTABLISHMENT; COMPOSITION; APPOINTMENTS.

There is hereby established a regular police force in and for the Village, which shall consist of a Marshal, designated as the Chief of Police, as provided by Ohio R.C. 737.15, and deputy marshals, designated as patrolmen, all of whom shall be appointed by the Mayor, with the advice and consent of Council and subject to its confirmation.
