(a) Whoever violates any of the provisions of Title 14 is guilty of a minor misdemeanor and shall be fined not more than one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) for each offense. A separate offense shall be deemed committed each day during or on which a violation occurs or continues.
(b) The imposition of any administrative penalty shall not preclude the Village or the Village Solicitor from instituting an appropriate action or proceeding to prevent, abate any unlawful repair or maintenance, to restrain or enjoin, correct or abate a violation, to prevent the occupancy of a building, structure, or premises or to require compliance with the provisions of these codified ordinances or other applicable laws, ordinances, rules or regulations, or orders or determinations of the Zoning Administrator or other Village official as designated by the Mayor. The Village may, if violation(s) are not corrected within the allotted time period, perform such actions including correction or abatement of violation(s) by Village personnel to bring them into conformity with this Code as designated by the Zoning Administrator based upon an hourly rate of one hundred dollars ($100.00) per hour or the recovery or assessment of all fees paid to companies, contractors, or agents to correct or abate violation(s).
