(a) The following court costs shall be in effect as of January 21, 1998:
(1) In all misdemeanor cases, other than those for a moving violation, a fee shall be assessed, pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2743.70, currently set at nine dollars ($9.00) by the State legislature, and subject to change as amended by the State legislature, for deposit with the State for victims of crime.
(2) (Repealed by Ord. 1361-09. Passed 10-6-09.)
(3) Local costs shall be twenty-three dollars ($23.00) per case.
(4) Warrant fees shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
(5) Copies of court records, twenty-five cents ($0.25) per page.
(6) A jail fee shall be assessed, pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2929.223. Said fee is currently set at sixty dollars ($60.00) per day by the State legislature and shall be subject to change as amended by the State legislature.
(7) Any requested continuance, other than by the Village, shall be twenty dollars ($20.00).
(8) Occupational driving privileges (if requested prior to hearing) shall be thirty-five dollars ($35.00).
(9) The Mayor's Court computer fee shall be ten dollars ($10.00) per case.
(10) An administrative fee amounting to ten percent of whatever bond is set shall be assessed in each and every case.
(11) State fees as applicable.

(b) The following fines shall be in effect for violations occurring on and after April 02, 2014:
(1) For all moving violations, to which the accused pleads guilty, the fine shall be fifty dollars ($50.00).
(2) For all nonmoving violations, to which the accused pleads guilty, the fine shall be thirty dollars ($30.00).
(3) For all minor misdemeanor violations not involving a motor vehicle, to which the accused pleads guilty, the fine shall be one hundred dollars ($100.00).
(4) Seatbelt fines shall be as set by the state, said fines being thirty dollars ($30.00) for the driver of a vehicle and twenty dollars ($20.00) for a passenger in the vehicle, said fines retroactive to November 23, 2000 as per Ordinance Number 1141-00.
(c) The following court costs shall be in effect as of September 23, 2008:
(1) In all moving violation cases, a fee shall be assessed of three dollars and fifty cents ($3.50) for deposit with the division of criminal justice services.
(2) Effective April 7, 2009, in all moving violations, a fee shall be assessed of one dollar and fifty cents ($1.50) pursuant to Ohio R.C. 4511.19, and subject to change as amended by the state legislature, for deposit with the county or municipal indigent alcohol drivers treatment fund.
(3) In all moving violations, a fee shall be assessed of five dollars ($5.00) pursuant to Ohio R.C. 120.08, and subject to change as amended by the state legislature, for deposit with the state for the indigent defense support fund.
(4) The sum total of these additional costs shall be ten dollars ($10.00) and shall increase the total court costs on an individual convicted of a moving violation to sixty-seven dollars ($67.00).
(d) The following court costs shall be in effect as of October 16, 2009:
(1) In all misdemeanor offense cases, except non-moving traffic, a fee of twenty dollars ($20.00) shall be assessed pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2949.091, and subject to change as amended by the state legislature, for deposit with the state for the Indigent Defense Support Fund.
(2) In all traffic offenses that are not a moving violation or parking violation a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) shall be assessed pursuant to Ohio R.C. 2949.091, and subject to change as amended by the state legislature, for deposit with the state for the Indigent Defense Support Fund.
(e) Whoever fails to pay said fines, costs and fees for civil accounts and criminal violations, moving and non-moving traffic violations due and owing to the Village after thirty days of the date of correspondence from a collection service having a contract with the Village notifying of payment due shall be assessed the following charge in addition to the fines, costs and fees due:
Non-payment penalty fee: $100.00.
