5.28.080: LICENSE ISSUANCE:
The City Clerk, or his/her designee, shall review and approve the issuance of all license applications if the requirements of this chapter have been met and the necessary department approvals have been obtained. When it appears that any provider, premises, employee, licensed volunteer, childcare resident/visitor, or applicant does not meet the qualifications or has violated any of the terms of this chapter, the City Clerk or other City official shall notify the applicant by mail of the denial of the license and inform the applicant of his/her right to request the City Council to reconsider the denial of the application in accordance with section 5.28.200 of this chapter.
