Any person over twenty one (21) years of age desiring to sell safe and sane fireworks shall make application to the fire chief for a permit on or before June 15 of the calendar year for which the permit is sought. Each applicant shall pay the permit fee to the fire department at the time of application. Applications in the name of a corporation, partnership, association, organization or other group will not be accepted, but the applicant may be a representative of a corporation, partnership, association or organization. In the event that an application for a permit is denied and no permit is issued by the fire department, the permit fee shall be refunded to the applicant. (Ord. 2436 § 4, 1993)
