The erection, construction, enlargement, alteration, repair, moving, removal, conversion, demolition, occupancy, equipment, use, height, area and maintenance of buildings and structures in the city, except as may be amended or excepted in this chapter, shall be in conformity with the international building code and international residential building code as adopted in chapter 15.02 of this title.
