In the event of conflicts between the Fire Code and the NFPA standards, the Fire Chief is authorized to determine which regulation shall be applied. Should any provision within any of the codes or standards adopted hereinabove conflict with any provision of chapter 15.12 of this title, the provisions of chapter 15.12 of this title shall supersede. Any references within any of the codes adopted herein to a Board of Appeals and/or its powers, duties and procedures shall be construed to mean the Board of Appeals as established by title 2, chapter 2.38 of this Code, the provisions of which chapter shall apply and supersede any references within any of the codes adopted herein.
