13.20.255: SEARCH WARRANTS:
If the superintendent has been refused access to a building, structure or property, or any part thereof, and is able to demonstrate probable cause to believe that there may be a violation of this chapter, or that there is a need to inspect and/or sample as part of a routine inspection and sampling program of the city designed to verify compliance with this chapter or any wastewater discharge permit or order issued hereunder, or to protect the overall public health, safety and welfare of the community, the superintendent shall seek issuance of a search warrant from the district court of the sixth judicial district in and for the county where the property is situated. Such warrant shall be served by the superintendent in the company of a uniformed police officer of the city. (Ord. 2837 § 1, 2008)
