Wastewater from the following swimming pool maintenance activities shall be connected to and discharged into the sanitary sewer by an approved connection, including an air gap:
A. Filter backwash water;
B. Pool water of poor quality;
C. Neutralized acid cleaning wastewater.
Clean swimming pool water that does not contain detectable levels of chlorine shall be drained to the storm drainage system, and shall not be drained into the sanitary sewer without prior approval of the superintendent. (Ord. 2836 § 1, 2008)
