The city engineer and/or his/her designee is hereby authorized to determine whether the lawfully posted speed limit should be temporarily lowered during construction activities on city roadways so as to permit the movement of traffic in an orderly and safe manner. All temporary speed limit signage shall be posted in accordance to the Idaho transportation department traffic manual and/or the "Manual On Uniform Traffic Control Devices". (Ord. 2972, 2016)
