When a boot is attached to a motor vehicle by an authorized employee of the Pocatello Police Department, a booting fee shall be assessed against the owner and/or operator of said motor vehicle. The initial booting fee shall be the amount of fifty dollars ($50.00), from the date this section is enacted until October 1, 2011, after which time the booting fee shall be set from time to time by resolution of the City Council.
