The Township Building Official shall notify, by certified mail or by posting notice in a conspicuous location on the property, the owner, agent or occupant of any lands on which a violation of this chapter is found to exist. The notice shall require that the person having charge of the land resolve any violations of this chapter; and shall contain a summary of the provisions of this chapter. If the property is not in compliance with this chapter at the end of the period specified in the notice of violation, an appearance ticket may be issued.
