Upon declaration of a water use reduction emergency by the City of Detroit Water and Sewer Department, the State Department of Public Health or the township, the township shall announce the declaration by use of public radio or television and newspapers with normal operating range covering the community. The Public Works Manager or his or her designate shall implement whatever reductions are necessary to meet the water reduction requirements.
