§ 34.07  PAID HOLIDAYS.
   (A)   All full-time employees of the village shall receive 12 paid holidays per year, as follows: New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Juneteenth (June 19th), Independence Day, Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, the Friday following Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, one floating holiday selected by the employee and one additional day, per calendar year, to be selected by the Mayor. Unless otherwise indicated, such holidays shall be celebrated on the same date that the holiday is celebrated by federal employees. The floating holiday shall be exercised at the option of the employee and the additional day shall be taken on the date determined by the Mayor, which determination shall be made in the first month of each year.
   (B)   To be eligible for paid holidays, an employee must work either the day before or the day after the scheduled holiday.  Vacation hours shall be considered as time worked.  Sick hours shall not be considered as time worked.
