Pursuant to R.C. § 713.01, a Municipal Planning Commission is hereby established. The Commission shall consist of five members as follows: the Mayor, one member of Council to be elected thereby for the remainder of his or her term as such member of Council, and three residents of the village. Such resident members shall be appointed by the Mayor for terms of six years each. The term of one of the resident members of the first Commission shall be for four years and the term of one of such members shall be for two years. All members shall serve without compensation.
