§ 130.22  REIMBURSEMENT FOR EXPENSES OF CONFINEMENT.
   Any person convicted of a criminal offense other than minor misdemeanor and who is confined in a prison or station house at the expense of the village as provided in R.C. § 753.02(A) or who is confined in the Richland or Huron County jails as provided in R.C. § 1905.35 shall be required to reimburse the village, to the extent that they are financially able, for the prisoner's expenses incurred by reason of confinement, including, but not limited to, the expenses relating to the provision of food, clothing, shelter, medical care and personal hygiene products. The amount of reimbursement shall be determined by a court at a hearing held pursuant to R.C. § 2929.223. The Solicitor is hereby authorized to institute appropriate civil actions against village prisoners to recover costs of reimbursement as determined by the court, pursuant to R.C. §§ 753.02, 2929.223, et al.
