(A) There is hereby established in and for the village a Fire Department, to be composed of a Fire Chief and such other officers and personnel as Council shall, from time to time, determine.

(B) Ambulance division.
(1) That agency of government formerly known as the Ambulance Department is hereby merged into the Volunteer Fire Department and shall hereafter be operated by the Fire Department as a separate Division within such Department and shall be under control of its officers, subject to the mandate of the Mayor and Council.
(2) Any and all moneys standing in the former Ambulance Department account with the village shall be transferred to the Fire Department, but shall be maintained by the Village Fiscal Officer in separate accounts distinctly marked.
