Each full time police officer, after completion of every calendar year of full time service, shall in January of each successive year receive $500 for the officer’s purchase of uniform items and/or equipment. Each part time police officer, for completion of 520 hours of service in any calendar year, shall thereafter in that same calendar year and upon the Police Chief’s written approval, receive $100 for the officer’s purchase of uniform and/or equipment. The Village Fiscal Officer shall make each expenditure upon the written approval of the Chief of Police.
