§ 110.20  LICENSE REQUIRED.
   No transient alien or person who opens a store or place for the temporary sale of goods, wares or merchandise shall, in person, by agent or otherwise, sell or offer for sale, or solicit customers for the sale of, or take orders for future delivery of, any goods, wares or merchandise, without first obtaining a license therefor from the Mayor, for which the Mayor shall charge a fee of not less than $1, nor more than $50, for each and every day, or part thereof, used for such purposes. However, this subchapter shall not apply to persons selling by sample or at wholesale only, or to any agricultural article or product offered or exposed for sale by the producer or manufacturer thereof.
