§ 96.18  SWIMMING POOL RULES AND REGULATIONS.
   (A)   The following rules and regulations shall be observed and obeyed by all persons using the Plymouth Municipal Swimming Pool and surrounding park facilities, and shall be enforced by the manager of the Swimming Pool and the Police Department:
      (1)   Children under the age of seven years shall be accompanied by and under the supervision of a person 16 years of age or older.
      (2)   No smoking by persons under the age of 18 years.
      (3)   No use of profanity.
      (4)   No causing of distractions to pool personnel.
      (5)   No running, pushing or horseplay.
      (6)   Inner tubes, goggles, snorkels, rafts, balls and other such items are not permitted.
      (7)   All persons shall stay off framework and supports, floats and lifelines.
      (8)   No glass articles are permitted in the bathing area.
      (9)   The deep end of the pool shall be used by qualified swimmers only.
      (10)   Only one person at a time shall be on the diving board.
      (11)   Diving shall only be directly forward of the end of the diving board and persons shall bounce upon the diving board only once each time upon the board.
      (12)   No swimming in the diving area.
      (13)   There shall be a 15-minute rest period each hour, for all persons under the age of 18 years.
      (14)   Pool personnel may direct that any person violating any of these rules be removed from the pool. The length of the period for which a person is removed shall be determined by the Pool Manager.
   (B)   Council, by a motion duly made and approved, may make further rules and regulations for the use of the swimming pool as it determines are needed from time to time in order to ensure the most efficient, complete and orderly utilization of the swimming pool facilities. Any such further rules shall be posted at a convenient and conspicuous location at the swimming pool.
