§ 75.36  PROHIBITED OPERATION OF CERTAIN VEHICLES NEAR OCCUPIED DWELLINGS.
   (A)   The applicable provisions of this traffic code shall be applied to the operation of snowmobiles, off-highway motorcycles, all-purpose vehicles and any other vehicle, such as a riding mower which has been modified for a use other than the purpose for which such vehicle was manufactured, except that no snowmobile, off-highway motorcycle, all-purpose vehicle, or other vehicle as described above, shall be operated on any private property within 300 feet of any occupied dwelling house. This provision shall not apply to all-purpose vehicles used for non-recreational activities such as lawn maintenance, snow removal and the like.
   (B)   Whoever violates this section shall be fined not less than $50 nor more than $500, or imprisoned not less than 3 nor more than 30 days, or both.
